Creating a Ceaseless Portrait is a careful and considered process.
We guide you through each step with clarity and respect, ensuring your loved one is handled with the utmost care at all times.
Step by step guide
The process is intentionally simple, so your focus can remain on what matters most.
Begin by sending a high-resolution photograph of your loved one via our contact page. This image will form the foundation of your portrait.
You will receive a complimentary mock-up, allowing you to feel confident in the likeness before moving forward.
Entrust a small amount of ashes to us, handled with care at every stage. You will be provided with a secure ashes kit and clear instructions for safe, tracked delivery to our studio.
Only a small amount is required (approximately two teaspoons), and any remaining ashes are respectfully returned.
Each portrait is built slowly, grain by grain, with precision and respect. Your image is hand-drawn and delicately infused with the ashes, creating a piece that holds both likeness and presence.
No two portraits are ever the same.
Your portrait is completed over two to three weeks and returned to you with care. Throughout the process, you will be kept informed and have direct access to Jessica for any questions or reassurance.
The finished piece is something to live with - a lasting presence within your home.
